STRONG AT HEART Now Streaming
STRONG AT HEART is the third single from a concept album called LIGHTside/darkSIDE created by singer/songwriter/producer Dylan Charles. This soul/folk epic is inspired by works such as Dante’s Divine Comedy, Joseph Campbell’s Hero of a Thousand Faces, and of course Star Wars. The album will be released one single at a time, ultimately resulting in a full-length album; like a Netflix series, but, you know, for music.
In this chapter the two lovers face the first challenge on their journey together. One reminds the other that though the road may be long and arduous, love and perseverance will see them through the darkness and back into the light.
STRONG AT HEART was recorded and co-produced by Tony Calabro at Astoria Park Recording in New York City. Dylan and Tony play all the instruments on the record with a special appearance by Emily Kay Shrader on backing vocals.
